Gemma started dancing at the age of 3. She was offered a scholarship at the age of 16 for Bird College, London. She graduated Bird College in 2009 with a Diploma in Professional Dance and Musical Theatre. She was then offered her first professional job as a performer at Disneyland Paris. After 8 months of working with Disney, Gemma returned to London. Her love for dance then took her abroad - working at a 5* resort in Turkey - where she met her husband, Jack. She worked at the resort for 4 years performing in the hotel productions of Shrek, Grease, The Lion King, Avatar and The Smurfs. Gemma returned home to settle in Norwich in 2015. Gemma has since become a mum and has two little ones of her own (who you might see toddling around at Knowles Studios!) Gemma is also a Teacher Member with the organisations I-PATH and TDSC. She loves teaching children and teaches various classes at the studio!
